Second Croatian wind power plant goes into service

After a trial operation, VE Trtar-Krtolin, a wind power plant in the location of the same name near Šibenik, was commissioned by the Minister of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship, Branko Vukelić, on November 14.

The wind power plant has 14 wind units of the combined capacity of 11.2 MW, planned to annually produce 30 GWh. An investment of 12.5 million euros was made in this project by the German company Enersys and the construction took one year. The electricity to be generated by this second wind power plant in Croatia will be purchased by HEP under the agreement made for the next 15 years. The commissioning ceremony was attended by a member of HEP Management Board, Ivica Toljan, Director of HEP-OPS, Miroslav Mesić, and Director of Transmission Area Split, Marko Lovrić.
