On the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day, on behalf of the members of HEP Management Board, all employees and myself, I extend our sincere and best wishes to you and your association as a representative of consumers in Croatia,
Consumer associations in Croatia have proved to be one of the key participants in establishing new standards in the area of consumer protection and new relations between producers or service providers and product buyers or service users, in accordance with standards prescribed by the European Union. On this occasion I would remind you that on April 1, 2006, the new General Conditions of Electricity Supply become applicable. The new General Conditions demand greater responsibility for security of supply and quality of electricity and they generally establish clearer relations between HEP as a service provider and all customer categories as service recipients. Our customers rightly expect they will also benefit from the application of the General Conditions. Wishing that we would continue to work together to the benefit of consumers, I extend again my greeting and best wishes to you on the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day.
