As from January 1, 2009 HEP Toplinarstvo d.o.o. applies new heat energy prices (hot/warm water and process steam) for customers connected to the district heating system and customers connected to local boiler plants, and HEP Plin d.o.o. applies new tariff items for natural gas.
In accordance with the Energy Act, the Government of the Republic of Croatia at a session held on December 19, 2008 adopted Decision on Tariff Items of the Tariff System for Production, Distribution and Supply of Heat Energy. Also, based on its authority under the Energy Act and in reference to the prescribed tariff systems, the Government adopted Decision on Increase in Gas Supply Price (Narodne novine 142/08) and Decision on Tariff Items for Gas Distribution and Gas Supply for HEP Plin d.o.o. Osijek (Narodne novine 154/08). The prices charged by HEP Toplinarstvo d.o.o. for hot/warm water are set for each distribution area for industrial, business and residential customers connected to the district heating system or to local boiler plants. Prices for process steam for industry and businesses connected to the district heating system were also set. New tariff items are applied as from January 1, 2009 for gas supply in the supply area of HEP Plin d.o.o. Due to gas billing at new prices, from January 1, 2009 HEP Plin will read customer gas meters and if reading should not be possible for any reason (e.g. access not possible) customers can read meters themselves and submit readings personally or by phone: 031 244-647, 031 244-676 or 031 244-776.
