New General Conditions of Electricity Supply

The Government of the Republic of Croatia at its session of February 2, 2006 adopted, pursuant to Article 29 of the Energy Act, one of the most important pieces of secondary legislation - General Conditions of Electricity Supply.

The General Conditions of Electricity Supply regulate: procedure for issuing preliminary connection approval and creating conditions for connection to the electric network; procedure for issuing connection approval; conditions for connection, electricity supply and network use; quality of electricity supply; mutual contractual relations between energy undertakings and network users; rights and obligations of energy undertakings and network users; conditions for metering, billing and payment for the electricity supplied; conditions for the application of restriction or suspension of supply; procedures for determining and billing for illegal consumption of electricity.
These General Conditions come into force on the eighth days after being published in Narodne Novine and apply from April 1, 2006. As from the date of application of these General Conditions, the General Conditions of Electricity Supply (Narodne Novine 8/91, 61/92, 70/92, 78/93 and 81/97) become invalid.
