In the twelfth first choice employer survey conducted by MojPosao, HEP was ranked seventh most desirable employer in Croatia.
The survey included more than 15,000 respondents. As key factors of employer's appeal, the respondents listed job safety (20%), work atmosphere (18%), and promotion opportunity as a third most important factor (17%).
Only 8% of the respondents listed a hierarchical promotion opportunity as a key factor of employer's appeal. Company image and industry leadership (9% respectively) did not rank especially high among important factors.
The biggest share of respondents (35%) wishes to work in a foreign-owned private company, followed by a domestically-owned private company (17%). Third on the desirability list came Croatian institutions and state-owned companies (both 16%). 13% of those participating in the survey stated they wished to work for a foreign institution.
In terms of the employment status, unemployed respondents prefer privately owned Croatian companies (20%), while the employed would rather choose a private company in a foreign ownership (39%). Respondents who are still in schools or universities prefer a state-owned company as their ideal employer (19%).
