15.03.2016.
The 19th annual as well as the electoral assembly of the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development was held today on the premises of HEP d.d. in Zagreb.  The Assembly confirmed HEP Group as a new member of the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development.

The Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development is an autonomous business sector institution established by Croatian businessmen for the purpose of encouraging the economic sustainable development. The Council bases its operations on using templates and models of the WBCSD. Having opted for the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development, members express their commitment to sustainable development, the implementation of economic and environmental efficiency, and report on environmental issues, sustainable development and social responsibility.
One of the Council's founders in 1997 was APO Environmental Services, which later became a member of HEP Group. In the period between 2013 – 2015, another HEP Group's company became its member – Program Sava d.o.o. As a parent company, HEP d.d. represents the entire HEP Group. HEP's representative in the Council is its President of the Management Board Mr. Perica Jukić, who stated today his belief that by accepting HEP as its member, Council's member companies recognized HEP's good practices in the field of corporate social responsibility and its dedication to sustainable development.

HEP also presented its Sustainability Report for 2013 and 2014. This pilot report was developed in line with the core option of the fourth generation of the G-4 Global Reporting Initiative. HEP Group has thus become one of Croatia's first state-owned companies which reports on its business operations in line with the EC directive on non-financial reporting.
