HEP Operator prijenosnog sustava d.o.o. and Končar - Energy and Transportation signed Contract for System Control Function on Wednesday, November 21st.
President of HEP Management Board, Ivan Mravak, emphasized at the signing of the Contract the great importance of its implementation for HEP and HEP OPS as well as for participation in the liberalized electricity market, adding that this technological advancement would require exceptional expert knowledge of HEP OPS people. President of Končar - Electrical Industries Management Board, Darinko Bago, expressed his satisfaction over the fact that this significant project to modernize the electricity system of the Republic of Croatia would be carried out by Croatian experts and thanked for the trust placed in their company. Assistant Minister of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship, Željko Tomšić, congratulating HEP on this investment expressed his satisfaction about its being realized by a domestic company, Končar. After that, in the presence of Željko Tomšić, President of Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency Tomo Galić, and members of HEP Management Board, the Contract was signed by the director of Končar - Energy and Transportation Tomi Dužević and the director of HEP OPS Dubravko Sabolić. T. Dužević said on that occasion that the implementation of this project would be the greatest life-long reference for the members of their team, and D. Sabolić expressed his confidence in yet another good cooperation with their strategic partner, this time on the implementation of one of the most important contracts for HEP OPS.
