“100 gifts for 100 years”

06.12.2007.
At Elektra Zagreb central office, presents were handed today to the most loyal customers, and this event named “100 gifts for 100 years” was yet another in a series of public events marking A Century of Light in Zagreb.

As giving presents on St. Nicholas Day is an old folk custom, Elektra Zagreb decided to give presents to its most regular payers on that day, as part of the program for the anniversary “A Century of Light in Zagreb” . “Persons celebrating their birthdays must treat their guests and guests must bring gifts. These are, in this case, regular payments of bills, and Elektra wishes to reward you and say thank you”, said joyfully the event presenter Trpimir Vicković-Vicko who wore a lineman uniform and carried mounting equipment. The guests were addressed by the director of Elektra Zagreb, Marko Škrobo, saying that he was happy to reward regular payers. He briefly recalled Elektra’s history and operation and the events held to mark A Century of Light in Zagreb, singling out the central event of the anniversary- Ceremony at the Croatian National Theater. M. Škrobo wished all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year full of good health and satisfaction. Rewarded today were only customers from Zagreb, 50 of them, and 50 gifts would be handed to the most regular payers in other Elektra Zagreb locations. The gifts were handed by M. Škrobo, Zvonko Stadnik – director of HEP OPS Department for Tariff Customers’ Supply and Customer Without Suppliers, Neven Lang-Kosić – Assistant Director of Elektra Zagreb, Aleksandar Đaković - Head of Supply Unit and Željko Šimek – Head of Office of the Director of Elektra Zagreb.
