HEP ESCO's Open Door Day

Within the 10th Energy Week of Zagreb, HEP ESCO's once again organized an Open Door Day.

HEP ESCO’s Director, Željko Jelačić welcomed the participants at the company Open Door Day.

Sandra Magajne, Head of International Cooperation, Education and Marketing Department, presented the evolution of energy services in the era of digital technologies, where trends in renewable energy sources and energy management were presented. The energy transition is marked by four phenomena called 4D in the energy transition: decarbonization, digitalization, decentralization and democratization. Magajne also presented EU projects implemented by HEP ESCO (3Smart, TEESCHOOLS, FEEDSCHOOLS and TOUREST) and Loyalty Program for big customers of the sister company HEP Opskrba.

Hrvoje Hucika, Head of ESCO Project Implementation Department, presented new energy services implemented though an ESCO model. HEP ESCO market offers the construction of solar power plants by the 'turnkey' principle. In addition, to co-owners of multi-apartment buildings HEP ESCO offers gas boiler restoration projects, with savings seen immediately on heating bills. HEP ESCO has recently signed a contract for the modernization of public lighting in the town of Zaprešić and the municipality of Stupnik according to the EPC model, and projects have foreseen savings of over 80% of electricity consumption, Hucika concluded.

Tomislav Stašić, Head of Energy Management Department, presented energy efficiency and energy management services such as HEP SGE Program and ESCO Monitor® energy management system and optimization projects, with a very rapid return on investment. Stašić also presented HEP ESCO development projects, the 3Smart project (co-financed by EU funds) and the project of using biosensors for the purpose of exploring thermal comfort that HEP ESCO implements jointly with FESB.
