The
nZEBRA project aims to design and pilot an intensive interdisciplinary course on climate-neutral buildings.
This course seeks to enhance the skills of higher education students in architecture, civil engineering, and energy for the design and maintenance of nZEB structures that meet the market demand for qualified professionals and support global efforts in combating climate change.
The course covers significant topics such as nZEB, circular economy in construction, climate change adaptation, development of integrated renewable energy systems, smart buildings, and environmental social governance strategies.
The project is funded by the European Erasmus+ programme with a total budget of €400,000, under action type KA220-HED – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education, according to the Grant Agreement No. 000154329.

Within the project, a training toolkit will be developed for trainers to guide lecturers on the effective use of jointly designed learning scenarios and Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Building Energy Modelling (BEM) software for analytical purposes.
The project started on September 1, 2023, and will last a total of 36 months.
