TEESCHOOLS - External training course was held in Zagreb

Organized by HEP ESCO and the Croatian Green Building Council, on October 29, 2018, an external training course for stakeholders was held in the Grand Hall of the old HEP Building Management in Zagreb.

Within the TEESCHOOLS project, funded by the EU's Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg Mediterranean Program, a half-day workshop was organized in which the most important elements and results of the project were presented.
 
Vlasta Zanki, HEP ESCO Director and Dean Smolar, Director of the Croatian Green Building Council greeted the participants. In the introductory part of Vlasta Zanki presented the main features of the TEESCHOOLS project.
 
It was emphasized that the aim of the project is to stimulate the inflow of more private funds into the reconstruction of public buildings, support the MED region to fulfil the obligations imposed by the EPBD and EED directives and strengthen the capacity for energy management in public buildings.
 
The workshop program covered the following topics:
  1. Results of energy audits conducted in pilot schools of the City of Split - Goranka Tropčić Zekan, KLIMAPROING
  2. Optimum Financial Model for Implementing Energy Efficiency Projects in Schools - Goran Hanžek, HEP ESCO
  3. Practical implications for the project stakeholder - Damir Šarec and Ivan Lovrić, HEP ESCO
The workshop gathered 25 participants.
