FEEDSCHOOLS – World Café workshop was held in Zagreb

Organized by HEP ESCO and the Croatian Green Building Council, on 22nd of January 2019, a World Café workshop was held in the Grand Hall of the old HEP Management Building in Zagreb.

Within the FEEDSCHOOLS project, funded by the EU Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg Central Europe Program, a World Café workshop was organized, aiming to present the most important elements and project results in an informal and interactive environment as well as to provide stakeholders feedback.

Vlasta Zanki, HEP ESCO Director, welcomed the audience and informed them about the main goals of the FEEDSCHOOLS project. She also emphasized that HEP ESCO is currently partnering with 3 more EU projects: 3Smart, TEESCHOOLS and TOUREST. Furthermore, Goran Hanžek presented the "Objectives and Potential Barriers to Energy Efficiency Financing".

The main moderator of the workshop was Dean Smolar, Executive Director of the Croatian Green Building Council.

The program covered the following topics:
  • Discussion on Barriers to Energy Efficiency Financing in Schools (Administrative, Legal, Financial, Accounting, Technical)
  • Participants' experiences
  • Potential solutions
  • Submitting the table conclusions (moderators).
The workshop gathered 26 participants.
