3Smart - Transnational Training in Zagreb (26-27 March, 2018)

On 26 and 27 March 2018, a transnational training for partners on the 3Smart project (Smart Building - Smart Grid - Smart Cities) held at HEP Headquarters in Zagreb.

The main goal of the 3Smart project is to provide a technological and legislative framework for comprehensive energy management in buildings, power networks and main infrastructure of cities in the Danube Region. This includes the development of a modular platform for coordinated energy management in the building as well as the connection to the distribution network.
 
Leading partner of the project is the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER). 13 partners from 6 countries are developing the project. With FER, partner from Croatia is the Croatian Electric Power Company d.d.
The HEP's old administrative building, at Ulica grada Vukovara 37 in Zagreb, is part of the 3Smart Pilot project, which deals with the management of heating and cooling systems, as well as the management of a micro-network (battery set).
 
The aim of the transnational training was to familiarize with the pilot building managers, including the HEP's old administrative building as a modular program package for the management of heating and cooling systems (HVAC), as well as the management of the systems in zone (temperature control in individual offices).
