Crosco Building

HEP ESCO implemented an Energy Efficiency Project worth 1.88 million kuna on Crosco business building. The Project was completed in October 2008, and the savings achieved amount to 430 thousand kuna a year.
The heating system was reconstructed by replacing the existing oil-fired boiler with a new one fired by natural gas. The new boiler room was retrofitted with two gas low temperature hot water boilers of 575 kW and associated gas burners, and sliding two-level control and associated gas ramp.

The new boiler room meets the same energy requirements of the building at significantly  lower cost.

The Energy Efficiency Project on Crosco building has resulted in significantly lower energy consumption and costs, maintenance costs and, certainly, the quality of spaces which employees inhabit each day.
From the environmental protection aspect, this Project is important because replacing the source of energy for heating reduces the emission of detrimental gases, contributing thereby directly to sustainable development.
