21.01.2011.
In 2010, a record year for all hydro power plants on the Cetina River basin, the 497.6 MW Zakučac HPP deserves special attention

By reviewing the production from Zakučac HPP from September 16, 1961, when Unit A went into operation, all through December 31, 2010, it is clear that 2010, when it delivered more than 2,430 GWh into our electricity system, is a record year for the power plant, over the fifty years of its being in continuous operation. True, the figure is subject to comparison over the last thirty years, from 1981, when Units C and D went into operation (or phase two). The only two years coming close to the last, record, year, are 1980 with 2, 056 GWh (when Unit C went into operation) and 1996 with 2,015 GWh. The total net output from Zakučac HPP, since the beginning of operation to the end of last year amounts to an impressive 71,884 GWh .
