The company HEP - Toplinarstvo d.o.o. performs the activities of production, distribution and supply of heat energy to households and industrial entities in the areas of the cities of Zagreb, Zaprešić, Samobor, Velika Gorica and Osijek. As of January 1, 2007, based on Decision on merging, Toplinarstvo Sisak d.o.o. became a part of HEP Toplinarstvo d.o.o. as Sisak Operational Unit.

Hrvatska Elektroprivreda has 1620 MW of installed capacity for district heating and 843 t/h for process steam in Zagreb, Osijek and Sisak.
