Dubrava is a multi-purpose diversion-type facility in the Drava basin which represents the last step on the Drava in the stretch from the Slovenian border to the mouth of the Mura. The power plant uses the Drava River potential for electricity generation, increases protection from floods, facilitates discharge, enables gravitational irrigation of agricultural land along the headrace canal, and creates conditions for the development of sports and recreation.
