 Balancing energy
If a customer loses a supplier or if a customer does not find a new supplier within 30 days from terminating the supply agreement, electricity will be charged according to balancing energy unit prices pursuant to Amendments of the Methodology for Providing Balancing Energy Services in Electric Power System (Official Gazette 94/10). The customer also pays the supply charge.
Unit price of balancing energy as well as supply charge depend on the customer's tariff model. The amounts are shown in Table 1.
Calculation of balancing energy
The amount a customer is required to pay for consumed electricity is calculated as a product of consumed electricity (kWh) and analogous prices shown in Table 1. The resulting amount must be increased by a supply charge and an incentive fee for promoting electricity production from RES. Total bill amount for consumed electricity equals the sum of such calculated items.
