 System balancing
The system balancing service in real time is used for correcting energy deviations from the values specified in contractual schedules of market participants. To correct system imbalance HEP-OPS ensures balancing energy. The settlement for balancing energy is carried out according to Rules on Balancing the Electric Power System and Amendments to the Rules on Balancing the Electric Power System (available only in Croatian language)
Since 1 April 2011, according to the Methodology for balancing energy system service in the electric power system (available only in Croatian language) for all categories of customers who do not have the ability to measure and store hourly values of electricity consumption, Load profile diagrams (NKO) (available only in Croatian language) issued by HEP Distribution Systrm Operator (HEP ODS)
are used for the purpose of settlement for balancing energy.
