 Remote control system
The existing information and communication technology system called Remote Control System (RCS) was established in Hrvatska Elektroprivreda in the early ‘80s of last century.
RCS comprises the control system of the National Dispatch Center (NDC) in Zagreb, control systems in 6 remote control and monitoring centers and IT equipment in 139 power plants and facilities.
Today, RCS covers about 90 percent of transmission plants and the goal is to equip them all with state-of-the-art information systems for local control and make them part of RCS.
