Disadvantages of using renewable sources

Large-scale use of renewable energy sources has its difficulties and constraints – volatility and unpredictability of sources, low efficiency and high prices, as described in submenus together with explanations and examples.

However, all of the constraints and difficulties can be overcome by performing a careful site selection,  measurements and studies, proper and professional selection of equipment, and by using incentive prices for purchase of electricity from renewable sources (applied by Croatia since recently)  and good planning.
