Incentive system

Eligible producers generating electricity from renewable sources supply it to the transmission or distribution system, depending on the voltage level they are connected to. The invoice for the electricity supplied is issued to HROTE which pays such producers accordingly once a month for the electricity supplied in accordance with the tariff system in force.

Payments made by HROTE to eligible producers are secured from suppliers which collect them from electricity customers.

The electricity bill received by customers consists of the charge for electricity consumption and an additional charge for renewable energy sources per kWh of electricity consumed, which for 2007 is 0.0089kn/kWh.

The idea behind the entire incentive system is that all electricity customers pay a charge for renewable sources but incentives are received only by eligible producers of electricity from renewable sources.
