Live Work Association held a meeting at HEP

15.05.2009.
The representatives of seven member countries of Live Work Association (LWA) held meetings at HEP's headquarters on May 12 and 13 relating to Croatia’s joining that organization last year.

LWA is an international organization dealing with the development and application of live work technology in Europe. As may be remembered, last year, thanks to HEP Management Board, HEP Education and Training Center and efforts of Croatian members of LWA, Croatia got a full membership and the right to vote in the LWA Steering and Technical Committees. Director of Network Management and IT Department of HEP ODS, Darko Vidović, was appointed chairman of the LWA Technical Committee and Vladimior Caha was appointed chairman of the LWA Steering Committee for a three-year term. The two chairmen were the hosts to the members of Steering and Technical Committees who came from six member countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Spain and Ireland). The most important item on the agenda was modification of the Articles of Association to reflect Croatia’s full membership. The meeting also considered forms of cooperation with its South-African peer CACIER/CITTES and LWA’s possible expansion to include new members. Another important topic was organization of a jubilee tenth consecutive International Conference on Live Maintenance, ICOLIM 2011. This meeting opened initial discussions about preparatory documentation for a demonstration exercise in TS Melina 400/220/110 kV which will be held on the last day of ICOLIM 2011.
