A workshop of ENTSO (European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity) for the region of South East Europe was held in Zagreb on December 12, 2011.
The methodology and results in the planning of the European transmission network were presented as well as the first European network code. The workshop was held as part of the preparation of a new, second edition of the ten-year network development plan and the associated regional investment plans, and the first Network Code for connection of generating units – the documents prepared in accordance with the provisions of the third energy legislative package. Hosted by HEP OPS as a full member of this European association, the workshop was attended by representatives of the ministries, energy regulators and transmission system operators (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia).
