An all-time high summer demand for electricity in Croatia

16.07.2010.
On Friday, July 16, 2010, an all-time high daily electricity demand during the summer season in Croatia was registered – 57 412 MWh, with a peak load of 2 857 MW (between noon and 1 pm).

Such a demand broke the record 55 195 MWh reached on July 20, 2007 and is only nine percent lower than the maximum winter demand ever of 62 838 MWh on December 21, 2009. The growth in demand in July will obviously be about six percent compared to the plan or four percent compared to 2009. The Croatian electricity system has been stable and electricity supply is regular.
